RUDSACK X THE COOP:
THE HARVARD COLLECTION

EXTRAORDINARY
BY
ASSOCIATION

The COOP is a cultural institution, bridging the minds of Harvard and MIT students, alumni and faculty members since 1882. It’s a living tradition, shaped by generations of shared experiences and values. Built by members, sustained by community.

MORE THAN
A CAMPUS
BOOKSTORE

Founded by a group of Harvard students, the COOP was created to make textbooks more affordable and learning more accessible. These values of inclusivity and fairness remain core to the COOP today. We reinvest in our communities through several initiatives, maintaining the cooperative spirit that has defined us for more than 140 years.

WHAT LASTS,
Evolves

MIT completed the collaboration in 1916. And since then the COOP has grown into a vibrant community, owned by its members. Everyone from Harvard and MIT are welcome to join, and can enjoy a 10% discount off all purchases, exclusive offers, and member-only events.
All for just a $1 yearly membership fee.
We’re reinventing membership to make it smarter and more rewarding than ever. Stay tuned.

OUR
BOARD

The COOP is an entirely independent cooperative, governed by a real corporate Board of Directors which is made up of 50% students and 50% faculty and alumni. Together, they work to keep the spirit of collaboration between the institution alive, with student directors helping to shape its future each year

THEY SAY OPPOSITES,
ATTRACT.

The COOP celebrates the shared values and innate distinctions
between the students and alumni at each of these institutions.
Building a hub for combined creativity and ideas,
at college and far beyond.
