About The Harvard COOP for Kids

Inside this mecca of academia, parents will find a hidden gem just for kids: 'The Coop for Kids' features a bright, airy world of children's books to explore. In addition to books, you will find tables and chairs sized just right for the littlest readers.

Story Times:

The Coop for Kids has Story Time during the week. Our Coop booksellers enthusiastically present a diverse and inclusive array of fun books for all, and love to introduce both caregivers and kids to new voices and to favorite classics.

On every Tuesday at 11am, tots aged 6 and under are invited to hear a selection to engaging stories. New parents are encouraged to bring their babies along to join in the fun; it is a great spot to meet other parents and make new friends.

Unless otherwise noted, COOP for Kids events are held on the Third Floor of the Harvard Square Book Building and are free and open to the public. (Plus, it is one of the few places in Cambridge that has a public bathroom. There are changing tables in the restrooms.)

Story hours are free and open to the public. For more information, please call (617) 499-2000.
